The Northern Lakes Fire Protection District has been trying since November to get reimbursed by the Idaho Republican Party for costs associated with Vice President Dick Cheney’s visit to Coeur d’Alene.
But the Republican Party has not responded to the district’s written request and numerous follow-up phone calls, Deputy Chief Ralph Kramer said.
