I went to an wonderfully integrated (black/white/gay/straight) church during the mid '90s in Washington DC , in a beautiful 100 year old church "building" . I sang (for the first time ever) in the sweet sounding choir & enjoyed so much fun and fulfillment that I amazed even myself!

This "holy" church split in TWO , largely along racial and ageist lines with much ugly 'n bitter behind-the-back talk . That's when I learned that if I wanted to find (my version of) God , I would and could
not look for my soul food in The Church , in a building .

No matter how old or pretty that building is , the "show" largely depends on stagecraft and people with diverse and conflicting agendas . And lest we forget , , , in ever increasing numbers today ; those who control the buildings inject an unhealthy virus of Fear and Loathing into their flock in pure and self-righteous defiance of everything Jesus taught .

Jesus commanded that we Love , and Love is Worthy . Men command obedience to rules they make (up) historically and also on the fly . NOT Worthy .

Way 2 much of mankind is corrupt . Religious leaders (all Men?) of every denomination rape innocent children and women . Men with agendas made churches , Great and Wonderful temples of grandeur ! God is NOT a building , a temple , an agenda .

During the overwhelming coverage of the OJ trial, of which Smith is still hyped up about, he broke in and said they had to be fair and balanced, they had talked about the Republicans so now they had to talk about the Democrats.

Major Garrett came on to do the Democratic segment and he corrected Smith saying we don't have to do this segment we get to do this segment, He said he was pumped up about it. (Comment: So Major Garrett is admitting they're not fair and balanced?)

Courtney Pilchman, Former Prosecutor Says Teacher Who Abducted Student Ought To Be Burned

Today on Studio B with Shepard Smith they had a segment on about the teacher who abducted her student and fled to Mexico. (She has since been returned) Seems there may be a discrepancy in the age of the boy. He may be 16 instead of 13. Studio B brought up the fact that the boy was an illegal immigrant and his birth certificate was from Mexico.

Smith had on a Defense lawyer, Monica Lindstrom and former Prosecutor, Courtney Pilchman.

The segment was pretty basic until the end when Pilchman said something odd.

First they had the author, Ronald Kessler, (Kessler is chief Washington correspondent of Newsmax.com,) on his book, 'The Terrorist Watch' (with the banner 'in stores today') who said we are winning the war in Iraq. He said we were tremendously successful and you won't see that headline in the Washington Post or the NY Times and that's why we haven't been attacked.

He said saying otherwise was all untrue. The American people had been bamboozled. He said that Hillary and Obama voted to give Osama Bin Laden the same rights as Americans. He said they couldn't intercept a call from Bin Laden in Pakistan to someone in Pakistan. And Doocy amd Kilmeade were there supporting him.

Breaking: U.S. Senator Larry Craig busted for lewd conduct in airport men's room

Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho) was arrested in June (o7) at a Minnesota airport by a plainclothes police officer investigating lewd conduct complaints in a men’s public restroom, according to an arrest report obtained by Roll Call Monday afternoon.

Craig’s arrest occurred just after noon on June 11 at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. On Aug. 8, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct in the Hennepin County District Court. He paid more than $500 in fines and fees, and a 10-day jail sentence was stayed. He also was given one year of probation with the court that began on Aug. 8.-----------------------------

Karsnia then held his police identification down by the floor so that Craig could see it.

“With my left hand near the floor, I pointed towards the exit. Craig responded, ‘No!’ I again pointed towards the exit. Craig exited the stall with his roller bags without flushing the toilet. ... Craig said he would not go. I told Craig that he was under arrest, he had to go, and that I didn’t want to make a scene. Craig then left the restroom.”----------------------------

My debate with an attorney who supports the banning of even the mention of intelligent design theory in classrooms will take place tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Rose Room in downtown Boise . Tickets are $10 for this ACLU-sponsored event, although students and low-income will be admitted free. I understand the hesitation many of you may feel about putting any of your money into ACLU coffers, but it would be a great encouragement to see some friendly faces in the crowd!---------------

Since students are admitted free, please encourage any high school or college students you know to attend. They may hear information about the paucity of support for evolutionary theory that has been blacked out by the scientific establishment, and may hear scientific evidence that supports intelligent design theory, again evidence their science teachers do not want them to know.---------------------

Your support and prayers, as always, are welcomed as we seek to defend our shared values of free speech, freedom of academic inquiry, and freedom of religion in the public square.

You will be encouraged to know that Dr. Bryan Pogue, the director of the Heart Prevention Clinic of Idaho, has, along with other scientifically-minded colleagues, formed an organization called "Science for Academic Freedom in Education," or "SAFE" for short. GOP Sins , Uhh , , SPIN ,,, Who KNEW ?

I for one , am SO thankful that Bushit Republicans have taught me a valuable lesson on what words really mean . We get IT George ! Thanks Bub .

It's flip-flop time , flip-flop ed on it's head , in the Greedy style only the 21st century GOP can muster ... America's brave Iraq/Afghanistan wounded and maimed matter SO MUCH to RubberStamp Repigs that America proudly treats our Troops like this :

On the worst days, soldiers say they feel like they are living a chapter of "Catch-22." The wounded manage other wounded. Soldiers dealing with psychological disorders of their own have been put in charge of others at risk of suicide.

Disengaged clerks, unqualified platoon sergeants and overworked case managers fumble with simple needs: feeding soldiers' families who are close to poverty, replacing a uniform ripped off by medics in the desert sand or helping a brain-damaged soldier remember his next appointment.

"We've done our duty. We fought the war. We came home wounded. Fine. But whoever the people are back here who are supposed to give us the easy transition should be doing it," said Marine Sgt. Ryan Groves, 26, an amputee who lived at Walter Reed for 16 months. "We don't know what to do. The people who are supposed to know don't have the answers. It's a nonstop process of stalling."

Here I was , an Ignorant American who thought that ,,, HaHa , if you said something , yelled something , even campaigned THREE times on a Bushit Slogan , I , with my simple-mind thought you had to like , mean IT !

Whew ! That takes so much pressure off billions of we actual human beings . While we don't try to say one thing then do another , we just fall short and fail from time to time . The human condition and all . But now we don't even have TO TRY to keep our word ! Tho ,,, our Prez is sent by God , and by default everybody else is NOT ! We normal humans can confidentially teach our children that Presidential blow-jobs are much more evil and destructive to democracy than wounded Veterans being ignored their Commander-in-Who ,,, ME ? . .

I wonder if , just IF , in a parallel universe , somebody held "them" accountable (?) for :
